Awesome. Such a big difference again between 90-130kph.
As SUV the shape is not the best for higher speeds, the wind resistance becomes the main factor. But for everyday use, these values are great.
Really good results tbh. I'd prefer the MG4 for its price but this ID4 rocks aswell!
These cars & many others all look very good, but why isn’t it a hatchback? These body shapes lend themselves to hatchback design, not a little opening to put in your goods. The best selling Tesla Model 3 is the same, that would be much better as a hatchback.
Norwegian test during summer did 589km on performance package, included mountain climb.
That was before 38% import taxes... It's a pitty all those small EV will now be less attractive.
Dongfeng at moment is 20%. Mg is 38
This guy must be suicidal. Wet driving
Important difference to m3 is the boot opening
That seems a nice car. I'm really excited to see the small, cheap cars come to market over the next 2 years. Also to see your 90 km tests, that you do on them all. Awesome. If i'nm ever short on range, I just go 90. Works awesome. I've been doing a few road trips over the past few months around Europe.
if the price would be 15.000€,then it would sell well...Not so much for 23.000€..
Nowadays, never will be an EV in Europe for 15,000 euros🤣
@@falloutkeeper I think the BYD Seagull will cost around 15k € in Norway..Will see..🙂
@@thomasnyborg6233 Byd Seagull will definitely not go below 20k euros, that's clear now, at least in Europe
@@falloutkeeper In Norway, there are 0% Tax on EV, s.. So why shouldn't Seagull sell for less, than 20k?explain... Tesla Highland RWD cost 29k € today...
@@thomasnyborg6233 Ok, if you don't have taxes there, maybe, but we have them in the European Union, so it won't go below 20k euros here.
That’s the first time I got a glimpse of the interior, thank you!
Super! I was looking for a video like this! Nonsense original trunk space management... maybe it's a good idea to also put sound insulation (I Just put a cover around spare tire on my old hyundai ioniq hybrid.) I wonder if there are aftermarket accessories

How does 2 screen work? Do you need to have a sim card so you can connect it with the internet?
The car has a sim so you dont.
10:57 okay i am out
Great video
What price is it? Model 3 or model S price?
Model S :)
it's no Ioniq 👎☹
1:20 Thanks for mentioning this. Everybody else ignored it or tried to hide it. It's a dealbreaker for me to be honest. It's basically a conversion and i'm not into this kind of thing. I'd rather buy the MG4. But dude....calling this infotainment "responsive" is an insult to our intelligence. It's far from responsive. It's one of the slowers ones if not THE slowers on the market.
Oh and you can at least check howuch rapid charging the previous owner did as the BMS records that too. Wont tell you how long its spent at 100% of course.
Can you be sure youve lost useable capacity if you weren't able to do the same test at new? Have you checked the State of Health figure? That indicates the remaining useable capacity. Still 100% on mine at 55k miles. Doesn't mean zero degradation of course, just that its in the buffers!
No I cant that is why I say 0 to 2%. Did not check the SoH this time but last time I checked at 30k or so it was still 100%.
You can actually add a frunk from a third party source. I’ve done so for my iD.5 GTX. Best car I’ve ever had.
The purpose of sliding console depends of the human body that drives the car.
Also i had for 20years BMW interior Bmw for me is top, i'm glad that nissan made a big step as a japanese brand for interierior, usualy obly engine do good. I do the choice from eu car to nissan and i can ensure you it is deserve it
19" & 20" wheels, charger possithion is just fine
Because when not necessary, the brakes cannot be used, the motors get energy back, and as you show you want to drive quickly (214km/h) if there is no necessity the use of brakes will be adapted to spare wastings! If there is an animal, then it will break automatically and spare any damage!
Why is a frunk so important? Really never understood that.
With the cable needed it is nice to have a frunk to separate it
Oke, never felt that need, put it in the sidepocket of the luggage compartment
More great content
really helpful information... thank you
P.S. let's say your right about the smartphone integration beginning in 2020 models, is that however only available in the ''Ultimate Trim'' or is that possible as well in the SEL Trim ?
I don't know either, but the hyundai website says that as long as you have the 10.2" screen, you should have the phone connectivity.
minute: 4: 05 : Hold on a second: ??? Why can't you just preheat or precool your 2019 KONA trims via the remote start feature? (is even that simple feature not available with 2019 Kona's?)
What tires were on the car? 20" performance tires? It is weird because I just tested the car with 20" Eco tires with about 23 kWh consumption. 14°C outside temperature.
More chinese cars pleaaaase! Anyway; Keep up and hope you get the attention and followship you deserve! Cheers from Morocco !
*promosm*
where would we be without the obligatory china trolls and bots pumping out their propaganda. all within a few minutes of one another. Buy European, support local jobs and democracies over autocracy. Opel all the way over MG
Great review. What’s the name of the color?
This car is awarded best budget EV in UK and Australia 2023, do you think it's a fair title won?
Great review but seems to be another over priced Opal considering MG5 will do the same job and do it cheaper.
MG5 has entered the chat.... cheapest Opel =£ 39,000 most expensive MG5 = £34,000
How will the stellantis group cope against the far superior and modern Chinese brands, it seems like they think like an ostrich with there heads in the sand.
Excelente!!
Dude 3.33 km/kwh equals 96kwh x 3.33km/kwh which is only 320 km range for the entire 96kwh battery pack. So these 2 number(342km range and3.33km/kwh) just don't add up. Something missing here.
it's not multiplying, not "not adding"; it's miles, not km. FIFY
The perfect family car, except.... it can't tow, so no trips to the landfill with a small trailer or no family camping trips with a small camping trailer. Very good efficiency though. Any chance you'd test the Stellantis Berlingo MPV or variants at 80, 100 and 130km/h? A definite family car with a huge boot and CAN tow.
I’ve had my e-Niro 2021 for only one month and loving it, it had only 5000 miles on the clock when I got it but don’t know the charging history but even if charged to 100% can’t imagine that will done too much damage over that mileage. I’m only charging to 80% with my 7kw charger and never plan to fast charge and will only charge to 100% a few times a year, so give the battery’s the best life possible. I have a question, mine is the 4+ and not worked out how to use the cruise control without the adaptive I’m sure you switched your adaptive off during the video?
I LOVE the opel cars lineup (specially the upcoming GrandLand EV) but i really hate break cars...
More fabulous content ..
thank you, easy access to brake regen level is very useful in countries that are not flat, believe me !
Please add the time driven to your test results. with that the average speed can be calculated to see how close you were to the target speed (90 or 130). thanks for your videos. i enjoy watching them. so please continue producing them :)
190kms for 56% of battery is good? Are you joking? I have the equivelent size ICEV in a Hyundai Palisade. Yes it is huge, comfortable and quiet. With my family of five and fully loaded with luggage we travel long distances regularly to visit family. I get all the way to a Sydney service stop where it will be almost empty but travelled over 900kms on one charge (fill). In less than five minutes i can recharge and do another 900+ kms. Not to mention the price, over twice the amount for an EV9. Large EV tech is not there yet and quite a long way from being a realistic option.
The EV9 is not twice the price of a Palisade, maybe go back to school and concentrate more.
Good for you…?
It’s a beautiful design, but the Chinese have zero fantasy. All the innovation is coming out of the US and China is just copying. I don’t know if I want to support that philosophy. The car might offer more features for the same amount of money, but my concerns are software user experience, reliability and privacy, hardware reliability longer term, local support, repair cost/speed, and as the reviewer mentioned: brand reliability. I also wonder if real world driving is living up to the specs. There’s also no historical data to rely on so we just have to believe range, drag coefficient…? Do you get the support of updates to maps and other services and how much is properly localized to the market/country you’re in?
